Bandai 1/72 Y-Wing Starfighter
This is a kit that one could literally work on for a lifetime. I considered it. Panels galore to be painted in a myriad of grays and metallics and washes and filters to create variegated versions of those.
Ultimately, I needed to call the kit finished for my own peace of mind. So, here it is, the Bandai 1/72 Y-Wing Starfighter. As you have probably read somewhere, these Bandai Star Wars kits are highly detailed and have great engeneering. This is my second of these kits and I can confirm that.
This makes five finished for the year.
Outstanding work on the detail and colors for this - and it DOES look like a well engineered kit - especially after seeing the job you did. So just how big IS it? 🙂
Thanks Craig. The model is about three inches wide and 7 inches long.
Excellent, Scott. I can see why there would be a temptation to just “do a little more” to her. Photos are great and show what a detailed work this is, and how much time and effort you put into the project. Did you add anything in terms of detail or was this all OOB?
Thanks David. It’s out of the box.
