Bf 109 F-2/4
Not my favorite WW2 plane, but for sure some of my best work as of lately. Build took suprisingly little time, about a week.
Have a video to go with these photos of the installed micro motor spinning the prop, but don't know how or where to upload it.
Nice presentation...welcome to the site - good to have ya on board. 🙂
Thank-you. Is there a way to upload video in addition to photos?
Welcome to iModeler! Right now there is no option to upload videos here - but if you do have a Youtube-Account, you can upload it there and put a link to it in your article.
Oh, OK, & thanks.
A.L. I'm not a huge 109 fan myself but I do like the early E's and F's. Nice first post. Welcome aboard. Hope to see more of your work.
Nice work A.L. is this the Zvezda kit re boxed by Revell?
It may be, I have no idea, but the quality definitely surpassed that of your average Revell/Monogram kit.
Dale, I believe it is the ICM kit reboxed here, not Zvezda for sure.
Thanks Pedro.
It is the ICM they re-boxed. Actually I had one too that I gave up on, and it now serves me very well as my sacrificial plane to test airbrushing.
However this one i seally nice - well done!
On the subject of video, may I suggest vimeo.com! You will not get as many followers as on youtube, but the vimeo site works very well for me. AND it is AD-free... I like that!
I do not know how it will work on iModeler, so I just inserted a link below this text.
Welcome aboard Gargett. Looking at the engine first photo it seems you made provision to turn the prop.
Exactly what I did.
Looks great!
OK - looking at the result after posting it works just fine with a video from Vimeo - I will get back and delete it in a few days so as not to confuse this post on your beautiful 109! - have fun with Vimeo if you choose that one!
No, actually, I’m fine with the link being left, may interest others to do likewise...
Also curious as to the type of plane in the video too.
looks awesome
nice clean build! And welcome.
Thank you to all for the nice comments. I hope to share more of my work as time permits.
