Swedish Ship-of-the-line “Svärdet” (The Sword) – Wrecked
Svärdet (The Sword) was a Swedish Ship of the line armed with 86 cannons. The ship was Claas Ugglas admiralsship in 1676. It was set on fire by a Dutch ship during the battle off the Southern tip of Öland then 1st of July 1676. 600 men perished when she sank.
It was rediscovered in 2011 and from the few Pictures available at the time and a few sketches from the divers and archeologist I re-created how it looked 335 years later on the bottom.
Scale is 1/100 and its 95% scratchbuilt from Wood. Cannons and Equipment are from various kits collected over time.

Hi guys, thanks for all the comments. This one was built back in 2011 but I still like how it came out. It is published in AMMO Weathering Magazine K.O and Wrecks issue as part of my Author introduction. In that issue I also have a step-by-step article on how to build/weather wooden wrecks.
Cheers
Jonas
