1/72 Airfix Spitfire Mk I
This is a1/72 Airfix Spitfire MK I that I finished today. Painted with MRP paints. Added a resin dorsal position light, Eduard seatbelts, drilled out exhaust and added antenna wire with Uschi superfine thread. Markings are from Iliad Desgin and depict Spitfire Mk I, K9843 of 54 Squadron, Hornchurch, early summer 1939.

What a Jewel. I like these 1/72nd Airfix Spitfires. Good value for the money spent. They are with in reach of the budgets of most young modelers or are deserving of being given to a pair of young hands in hopes of seducing them into the hobby. On the other hand they offer more seasoned modelers options in building some of the earlier Spitfires with different props and antennae masts and what have you.
Nice job Geoffrey . Thank you for sharing the photos.
