1/72 Horsa Glider. D-Day, Operation Deadstick – Part 2 of 3
This article is part of a series:
Hi all!
To go along (abord 🙂 ) my recently finished Horsa glider (posted last month), I've been painting some airborne troops.
Not much to say about it, they are not very good, but there are not much on the market... And the 'artist'... well... let's agree that 1/72 its not the best scale to paint figures?
Leave photos of just a few. Hope you'll see the whole gang soon.
cheers,
Manuel
My word, sir...I couldn't paint 48th scale figures to a "believable" level - much less 72nd - outstanding!
Thank you Craig, you're too kind.
Their much better than can do! Looks great.
Thks Robert! At 1/72 they are reaaaaaly tiny!
better than I could ever hope to do in any scale! looking good! Who makes those figures if I may ask?
Thks Paul! The figures are from Italeri and came with the kit (Italeri n°1356).
Fantastic work, Manuel! I couldn't do figures nearly as well - you don't give yourself enough credit!
Outstanding!
Jeff, thank you so much, You're too kind!
