Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk. Vb
Hello iModeler! Here is my Airfix Spitfire Mk. Vb dressed up as a bird from the Malta campaign. This is my 2nd Airfix Mk. V. I wanted a do-over from the first one I did since I was not happy with how the finish turned out. I am a bit more OK with this one.
Paints are Vallejo Model Air shot freehand through my Sotar airbrush. Decals are from XtraDecals. The kit itself is pretty good overall, although the way Airfix decided to attach the main gear struts was a bit of a j**k-wad move. Despite this, this kit has great detail and fit for the price and I highly recommend it.
