Full Battle of Britain fighter stable finished!
Seven months back I build Tamiya's new release Spitfire Mk.1 and decided to do one of each of the fighters used in the Battle of Britain in 1/48 scale. With the Bf 109E-3 I posted about yesterday, the collection is finished!
Little video presentation here for those interested:
Nice collection, job well done, I like them.
Thanks Tom, glad you do!
Justin, That's a nice themed display. Alone and together, they all look well done.
Coincidentally, a timely display for me, I just finished reading; The Most Dangerous Enemy: A History of the Battle of Britain, authored by Stephen Bungay.
Ah! Well delighted to have been able to post this at such an opportune moment Gary! ?
Amazing project. Well executed, well everything. Really good looking models. All done in just seven months?
Very kind of you to say, thanks Stellan! Done over seven months but since I only have access to a workshop when I go visit my parents back home some weekends, each was done intensively over about 3 days.
Great work, Justin. They all look awesome and will certainly be a great addition to your model case. I'm thinking about a build of all the Century fighters in 1/48, starting with the F-100. I have the kits, but they keep moving further down the list when something else pops up to build.
Thanks George! A century series would be a mammoth undertaking with all that bare metal... good luck with it!
Nice presentation, Justin...good work, my friend.
Thank you Craig ?
Great collection. Your paintwork is excellent.
Very kind of you John, and much appreciated thank you
Beautiful collection, and all nicely rendered! Really like them all.
Cheers Greg! ?
Justin, our comments here are too few and too short to adequately offer the recognition that such an effort deserves. Once you get it in your head to do it, the project takes on a life of its own. It's meant to be seen and appreciated by others, and you are doing that the best you can here.
Very nicely done.
Well gosh darn it that’s a very nice thing to wake up and read! You’re too kind David, but your comment it putting me in a good mood for the rest of the day! ?
🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Splendid work and project Justin. The dedication towards this endeavor really can be seen and appreciated. The project as a whole is very well deserving of a display of it's own. Very nice work.
