China Dog
There isn’t much to say about this, it’s the Hasegawa 1/72 F-86D Sabre Dog finished in RoCAF markings. It was done as a quick build after a particularly tedious/difficult project and it was just the tonic- straightforward, great fit and nice detail. It’s the second one of these kits that I’ve built. The decals were home-printed back when my ALPS printer was working, as I wanted something a little different. I could only find a couple of low-res, black and white images so I wasn’t sure if the undersides were white or NMF- I went for the latter.
The only detail added was a seat harness from tape, and a small styrene-card insert behind the tailpipe to cover a nasty concave seam.

Really excellent. I think you’re right about the colors – that theory makes sense.
