Scratch build 1/35 Stahlunterstände mit aufgesetzten Pantherturm ( Steel pillbox with panther turret)
These were used on the west, Italian and eastern front,
They came like this or on a wooden two story construction and encased in reinforced concrete (steel box version ) .
Panther turrets were converted into bunkers ever since late 1943.
Some were standard Panther tank turrets, and others where modified .
The modified turret roof was reinforced to 40 mm (this one )
Ammunition was stored around the turret basket.
The lower part of the box was a crew compartment with bunks, it also had a small stove , electrical generator, and powered by a small engine .
I could have kept the D turret as it is ...but i was in the right modeling building mood so i had to remodeled the turret as well.
its done for 98 %.
Thanks for looking.
Interesting project with a lot of good scratch work and research. Hope you can post the finished work, all painted and weathered

Really simple square bunker ,
Didn’t use one of the previous construction because you don’t see anything….. just the turret plate is visible and the side of the steel structure inside the entrance.
made from molda super (special casting plaster)
will add some detail inside the top part of the construction
Also will be adding a standard Panther turret with some detail inside.
