“Hemisphere Dancer”
Monogram 1/72 Hu-16C Albatross with Red Pegasus Decals “Hemisphere Dancer”
This is the old, basic Monogram kit (minus most the rivets) , with aftermarket decals for Jimmy Buffett’s famous “Jamaica Mistake a” aircraft, which is now parked at Margaritaville, Universal Studios City Walk, Orlando, Florida.
Assembling this old kit was no big deal, as there aren’t that many parts (old school). I had one shot at the decals as Red Pegasus is no longer around, and I couldn’t locate a backup sheet, but luckily had no major problem. This is my 4th Albatross, but being Buffett’s plane, I wanted it to be as close as possible. One of these days I’ll have to take a ride down to see it.
