Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays year in review, and Panther progress
Seasons Greetings fellow modelers! Seems I have had a fairly productive year, I didn't try and place them in order, but It think they are close. The Angel is actually part of an advent tree we got our daughter off ebay. She loved our family one so my wife searched and found one just like it! Sadly the seller failed to mention a dog had eaten a good portion of the angel. I restored her with epoxy putty, and painted her to match the one my wife and I have. Not perfect, but my daughter was quite happy. The last two shots are my slow but steady progress on Dragon's Smart Panther Kit. Happy Holidays friends!
Man - you get the prize for "most eclectic builder of the year!" Nice year's work!
Looking good, Rob!
Thanks guys!
Rob... Congrats on a productive year. Looks your modeling mojo was active this year. All are well done. Cant wait to see what you build in 2020.
Have a wonderful Christmas and blessed New Year!
I definitely rediscovered "fun" in my building!
Quite the posting Rob. It looks like you had a very cool year, and I like the Christmas tree. Man, that bike model of yours sure brought back some childhood memories for me...So did your cars !
Keep plugging away at the Panther, and before you know it...and good job with repairing the angel. You would never know.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. May you all have a healthy, safe, and prosperous New Year too.
Ah Rob, the Schwinn Sting-Ray brings back some memories! There is an Orange Krate Sting-Ray for sale in Milwaukee about 80 miles from my house, but he's asking $500 more than I paid for my MG Midget! (Which is also orange!) https://offerup.com/item/detail/571120295/
Schwinn kinda-sorta brought the bike back this year but it lacks the chrome fenders, dissimilar tire diameter (the small front wheel was really only on the Krate bikes, but it's what I envision when I think of a Sting-Ray) and the all-important Stik-Shift. (I think those had a choice of three or five sprockets IIRC.)
Well done Rob, and Merry Christmas.
Thanks for posting Rob, merry X-mas and a happy New year!
Diverse subjects lol. Very nice work!
Thanks again guys, never be afraid to delve off in non traditional model building areas. I was honestly surprised at how many oldies and such I had built, I plan on building more in between the "serious" subjects!
Great year for you, Rob! Very productive.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all the rest of the "gang" here!
all marvelous but the yellow slingshot and the stingray rang my bell
Great output Rob! Love that Tomcat.
Thanks again everyone, more diversity on the way, Santa brought a couple of Atlantis re-pops of classic kits! Stay tuned Happy New Years!
