Royal Thai Air Force F-16B from the 1/48 Hasegawa kit + extras.

December 18, 2019 · in Aviation · · 11 · 2.1K

This is the Hasegawa F-16D Night Falcon kit built as a Royal Thai Air Force F-16B. It depicts a jet before they went through their MLU program and got some additional aerials and strengthening plates amongst other things.

Decals are from Siam Scale, the Mk.82's are from the Hasegawa weapons set, ladder is Aerobonus, the ground power/comms panel on the right side of the intake is Verlinden and seats are from Quickboost. I made the intake and exhaust plugs from sheet card and epoxy putty.

This one was a shelf queen for a while but a surge of motivation over the last few months saw it get over the line a few weeks before completing the P-40. Not as much fun to build as the P-40 but a lot of fun to paint and weather.
