Spitfire mk ix c a. M. I.
Modification of Spitfire mi VB hasegawa in 1/32 scale to draw the IX C version of the Spitfire ,used by the italian air Force in the post War period.
The Modifications concerned the lengthening of the muzzle,the widening of the propeller blades,the construction of the second radiator ,the incision of the correct paneling for version IX of the Spitfire.
Model painted with Humbrol enamel polished alluminium + 35% of semigloss white.
Decals partly Tauro Model and partly painted

You would think after all these years, we’d have enough of looking at model spitfires. But no, here I am in 2020 (about 45 years after building my first Spitty) drooling over a Vb at the breakfast table.
A lovely build – finely painted, lusciously presented, and very, very pretty.
