Navy Revolt...1/48 Vought F4U-5 Corsario, Comando de Aviacion Naval Argentina
Another latin girl from 2016.
Hasegawa F4U-5N kit, Aztec decals, True Details cockpit, Gunze and Tamiya acrylics, EZ Line for brake lines and antenna wire, the "T" antenna on the belly was taken from the ancient Hasegawa F4U-4 kit.
The model shows one of the dayfighter Corsairs that were involved in the Argentinean Navy revolution attempt in 1963 when they defended their base against the army. The last Argentinean Corsairs were retired in 1965.
And now you've done it. I need a corsair to paint like this. Well done. Liked.
I'm so sorry...?
An interesting scheme i have never seen before, very well done !
Another beauty, Reinhard.
You've nailed another one. Great choice of colour scheme.
Wonderful build! I am building a Corsair as I type this. Great to see a wonderful execution!
This scheme gives it a modern look. Great job!
Nice work, Reinhard. Good to see a -5 in something other then sea blue.
I already have decals for a 1/72 version of this, so snagged the images for reference! It's beautifully done!
Thanks for likes and comments!
