40mm Bofors gun.
It’s been a long time since I put a model on the site,so here is a scratch built model of a 40mm Bofors gun I made from wood.At full elevation it’s nine inches high.

That's amazing! How do you scratch builders do it? I've wanted to do some scratch building for a while but dont really know where to start.
Hi Jordan, I started by buying a kit,measured all the parts,made templates to the scale I wanted to make it using pine and ply.All my models are made from wood.Thanks for the comment.

Hi David that’s very nice of you to say that.My eyesight has deteriorated a little so I’m just working on some of my old models and and trying to make them better,though the Bofors gun is new.
