Very colourful!
Wonder when a new 1/48 scale model of the Kingfisher comes.

Thank you.
I really liked this build. Id prefer more untouched new releases, tho a one of these would be so great.

Excellent! Did you replace the float? I know some folks do, either way it is very nice, love those Monogram kits.
Paul van Acker said on June 29, 2020
Thank you. No, it’s completely out of the box, apart from decals.

Painting the stripes is tedious but in the end worth it. Nice choice of paint scheme!

Anything painted in the early scheme with blue fuselage, yellow wings, and red and white tail stripes is going to look very cool. I love building the old Revell and Monogram kits, and you have done a great job on this one.

Think this is the first time I’ve seen one with the blue fuselage and yellow wings. Really cool.

Thanks so much everyone for the comments. I got the kit AU $6. 2nd hand but unstarted. Lol. All the best, Paul.

That is a good looking kingfisher. If I ever do one again, it’ll have yellow wings.
