1/35 Italeri Staghound

My done as when used by the Southern Rhodesian Armoured Car Regiment (SRACR) during the Rhodesia & Nyasaland Federation days.

It is based on the one on display at the Zimbabwe Military museum, Gweru.

Paints used were a spray can of Olive Green for the main colour, Vallejo model color for the tyres, white stripes and interior of the turret.

Decals were all home made.

  3. Nice finish its great to see some Rhodesian stuff in here. I have one of these in the stash and might have to steal your subject.

    • The Rhodesian Staghounds were camoed at a later stage. Here are photos of both uncamoed and camoed ones.
      Note that the ejectionable fuel tanks were removed and the carry box moved from between the exhausts to the left side of the vehicle:
