Lockheed P 38 f
Good Morning. I present my new job. It is a P 38 f from Tamiya at 1/48. A spectacular model in lace and detail. I have only improved the cockpit with some extra photo-etching and I have changed the machine guns and the barrel for Eduard’s. The assembly has not been any problem, everything has fit perfectly. I riveted the whole plane with tools from Rb and rosie the riveter. In the photos the riveting is not appreciated too much because I have not worked with any product, but it still looks more natural and real.
Thanks and regards

Awesome weathering of the OD surfaces, your P-38 is one impressive model by any standards. Superb work

Thank you!!! I think I have managed to give the plane a fairly adequate weathering. I have not used oils, only watercolor pencils. The paneliners only for the joints of the control surfaces. The result with the pencils has been, in my opinion, quite successful. On my Facebook LK44 Scale Models find more photos of this model and others.

That’s a beautiful airplane, and also the base is nice too. The figures are also a nice addition to the display.

Well, it certainly looks the part of an airplane that has experienced the New Guinea sun at Twelve-Mile ‘Drome. Very nice work on the model, and the little diorama is very effective. I like this a lot.
