ZVEZDA 1/72 Medieval boat
This model kit is titled ‘Medieval Life Boat’ by ZVEZDA.
On reading up about it I found it was the type of boat used to transport men and stores to and from the ships used by the Crusaders. If required it could also be used as a ships lifeboat.
It is brush painted and the paints used are Vallejo 70.872 ‘ Chocolate Brown’, 70.940 ‘Saddle Brown’ and the interior is a mix of the saddle brown and hemp.
The rigging is 0,25mm rigging string.

Sweet model! I guess it could be valorized in a diorama with crusaders…

Nice work! Pre modern ships need more attention in our hobby.

Very cool! I love the old boats and ships. You did a great job. It would look great in a small vignette on the water or beached on the shore.
I’ve been having some inner rumblings to do another wood sail ship. The main reason of not taking the plunge is the time involved.
Again, nice job.

Really nice job on this unusual boat, Phillip (@phillipe50). I have seen this in advertisements many times, but this is the first time I have seen it built.
