Panzerblitz 1...1/48 Focke-Wulf Fw190F-8, 9./SG77

January 31, 2021 · in Aviation · · 9 · 1.8K

Built in 2015.
Towards the end of the war different weapons were tested and used to try to stop the allied tank masses.
One of these weapons was the Panzerblitz 1 rocket system and several units were equipped with it. Sadly pics are very very rare, know only a pic of this a/c of 9./ showing it crashlanded in Bohemia.

kit and rockets, wheels from the sparebox (Tamiya ones are too small in diameter), rocket rails and decals from the Eduard F-8 kit. Painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics.

  1. Beautiful. Very fine paint work.

The Focke-Wulf 190 is the only German aircraft I have in my collection and yours is outstanding. I built mine from the old Otaki kit . I think I will have to get one of the new Eduard kits.

  2. Excellent finish and great pictures. Thanks for sharing.
