Revell 1/48 Bristol Beaufighter TF.X
For Revell there’s a fair amount of detail here but the fit is a bit iffy to say the least. I saw on here that somebody else had had issues with the fit of the engines and main undercarriage. They were not wrong. Still, with a bit of following my own intuition and minor surgery I got them to fit and line up. I’m still not happy with the cowl flaps but it’s not that noticeable so I left it.

This for sure makes for a very good Bristol Beaufighter , the painting and the weathering
are really well applied.

Nice job on the Beaufighter! This looks like a new mold kit from Revell?
Matt Buxton said on February 28, 2021
Thank you. Yes, it’s the Revell from 2018.

Very nice! I’m working on an old Airfix 1/72 Beau now… One of my favorite twins – just looks brutish.

Yeah, they could have called it the Barfighter.
