Eduard Spitfire Mk.1 completed.
In my second post today, here are some photos of my Eduard 1:48 Spitfire Mk1, built as GR-U, N3290 as it was on the 23 May 1940 just before being shot down whilst on evening patrol over Dunkirk. F/O Gillies was taken prisoner. This will be featured in my next article on the Battle of Britain in Model Airplane International. Hope you enjoy the photos!
Beautiful model, as usual. Thumbs up
Lovely build Alan.
Great work, Alan.
Superb!
Beautiful build, Alan.
The weathering is very realistic.
For me this is still the only 'real' Spitfire.
Bloody marvelous job done, Alan! The paint is spot on and you have managed to get all details to pop just about enough to make it look interesting. The unusual roundel on the fuselage is really adding to the brow lifting factor. Big round of applause!
The standard-issue Alan Price Excellent Model. it's a great kit and you definitely got the most out of every bit.
Double whammy today Alan - two great postings!
