In early 1942 a bunch of Slovakian pilots were sent to Denmark to train for the 109. Then they received a dozen of refurbished and partly repainted Emils (-3, -4, -7) and served as 13. Staffel with JG52 on the Eastern Front until 1943.

  2. A beautiful build, Reinhard.
Also a very nice story behind it.
Those 109's have served so many airforces.

  3. Very nice, love the Slovak markings.

  4. Yep - just went to ebay to find some Slovak decals for another 109! Going to have to have one that looks like this! Lovely.

  5. Really like these markings on the '109.

That is one nice show of modeling Reinhard.
Very nice and well done camouflage work, the mottle effect is so well done.
Nice touch on the subtle weathering and a very superfine choice of national markings.

  7. Nice work and not one that's been "done to death." I like it a lot.
