1/32 Pacific Coast Models Spitfire Mk.XIVe
This is PCM 1/32 Spitfire Mk.XIVe with the markings of “MV268 JEJ” of Grp. Capt. Johnnie Johnson No 127 Wing in Soltau Germany May 1945.
Base kit is PCM s Mk.XIVc kit. I have used Grey Matter resin part for teardrop conversion.
Other additions are:
- Master E wing cannon set
- Barracudacast cockpit door.
- SAC landing gear legs
JEJ code numbers are from DK decal “Spitfire Mk.IX aces” set.
Paints: Gunze and Tamiya acrylics.

What a beaut, what a monster! Must have been a fantastic and maybe at times somewhat frightening feeling to sit in the cockpit and feed in power and go down the runway. Love the camouflage and the demarcation between the upper colours. Just about enough fuzz.
