Hasegawa Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien 1:48
Here is one I finished up last year ; its Hasegawa's 1/48 Ki-61-i Tei Hien . I bought it as part of a double boxing along with its sister Ki-100 I Otsu. I finished it up as a Chinese Nationalist aircraft just to have a different one from the usual flashy Japanese ones.
The kit was as you would expect; perfect fit and no issues ; this is the reason why I dont ususally build Tamiya or Hasegawa 🙂 . Decals are by Kora and there are photos of this a/c floating about the interwebs
Regards
Brian

That is a great-looking Tony! Love the alternative markings, and the paint and weathering work is fantastic. Well done.

Yeah, nobody likes good fit and no issues.
I like the out of the ordinary scheme and it definitely looks like something swiped from an airfield after the war.
