Russian navy battleship Oriol
This model of Russan navy battleship Oriol was built with a 1/350 kit by Zvezda, photoetch by White Ensign Model and the wooden deck by Artwox. The torpedo net was built using a protective net for air conditioning ducts that I found on Amazon and I made it only on starbord. I also simulated the hull panels using stretched sprue. In the side with torpedo net I used a more hard whethering than the other side. The final result is quite nice. I added some pics of the “making of”.
Really nice work, particularly with the anti-torpedo net. Great result.
Yes, that is really impressive Carlo! That's a beautiful scale model!
Impressive build of an iconic warship.
Nice! A very creative build!

Love everything in your build!

Very outstanding work on this model Carlo !
That first photo alone speaks of history and a good museum look.
This model brings back memories while studying the Russo-Japanese War,
and how she was put into service under the name of Iwami, after she was surrendered to the Japanese.
Fine work, thank you for sharing these pictures.
Very Nice Carlo!
Great work, Carlo, especially the extras you've added and the weathering, definitely liked.
Those turn of the century Russian mixed gun boats are some of the coolest ships . Great job on this, now we know what all those bars sticking out the side are for. Must have been one busy crew.
Looks fantastic! Well done.
