HK Models 1/32 Mossie Mk.IV
Calling this one done. Pity the crappy camera never reflected the variation of the black although no pure black was used on the model. All extra work in the cockpit was scratch except for the Barracuda placards. The stowed dinghy was also scratch. Kit decals used and they worked well. Overall I'm fairly happy with the result.
Man, that is some fine scale modeling Mark! So well done sir! 🙂
Thanks Gary.
That really looks nice, and like a lot of fun with all that detail. The eye is always better than the camera when trying to capture subtleties of color. I never paint with pure black, it is always tinted with something to tone it down. The upper sides look great.
Thanks Walt. It was an enjoyable build with no issues, other than those that I created.
Helluva pit, man. Nice Mossie.
Thanks Bill!
Very nice, Mark (@mikekilo). The cockpit is especially well done.
Thanks George. The pit did require some extra attention.
Big and very well done. Parrot Blair, Jr. on your cockpit.
Thanks Bob!
Stunning! I must try this kit. Fantastic cockpit. Lovely detail on the hatch.
Thanks Ross. It's always fun adding that extra bit of detail.
Exceptional build, Mark @mikekilo
Really beautiful detailed cockpit.
Well done.
Thanks John!
Great looking Mossie.
Thank you Haslam!
Beautiful, Mark! @mikekilo
A real jewel. The Mossie is sooo cool, anyway ... in my opinion, one of the most beautiful (and effective) airplanes ever made.
Bravo!
Thanks Jeff. Yes the Mossie just looked right.
Very nice work on this. It's an interesting kit with the innovative molding.
Thanks Tom. The kit went together easily but the pit was really disappointing.
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
This is just plain and simple ... a JOY to watch.
A very captivating work on the cockpit detailing and an equal
point of view on the camouflage as well as the weathering.
Nice work Mark.
Thank you DE4EVER . Overall a fun build.
SUPER-NICE !
Thank you Johan.
A wonderful build, Mark!
You took a seemingly very good kit and your excellent skills produced a masterpiece.
Congratulations!
Thanks Spiros!
Some fine detail work on this. Well done - she's a beauty!
Thank you Greg!
