Tamiya Vought F4U-1D Corsair 1/48
This is a great kit. Took me some months to finish it. I spend sometime trying to make it look old and used. Chipping was hard to do it. Sand color, white and black Chalk helped me to make it look dirty and also to cover some little mistakes. Also I attached an ellectric motor to make the propeller spin.
Hope you like it.

Great work. The chipping and weathering is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Dennis, your work is also great. That Tamiya P-38H Lightning 1/48 looks fantastic.
Have a great one
A fantastic build Enrique!
Painting and weathering are truly exceptional.
Welcome aboard!
Thanks Spiros. Your models are also great. A inspiration to keep building.
Have a great one
A warm welcome with this fantastic entry to iModeler, Enrique @quiquelopez
It is obvious that this Corsair has seen quite some action already, nice weathering.
Thanks John. That´s the target, make them look like they where fighting hard in the war. And to achieve that sometimes takes a looooot of time, nights and beers. I´m still learning new techniques. By the way, your Henschel Hs129B2 looks great.
Thanks again. Have a great day.
A great build of what must be one of the most popular kits of all time. Welcome to iModeler.
Hi George. Now I´m building a Thunderbolt from Tamiya and is takeing me a lot of time.
Thanks for the comment.
Have a good one
Welcome aboard. Well done, nice looking Corsair.
Hi Gary, thanks for the comment. Your Hasegawa 1/48, F4U-4 Corsair looks great too.
Fantastic Corsair - love the paint and weathering work. Well done, and welcome aboard!
Hi Greg thanks for your comment I appreciate it. I saw your work and is great. I haven´t done so far a 1/72 model because I think most to be hard to work with pieces so small. That is a double challenge, harder work.
Have a good day
Welcome Enrique! ? That is a lovely Corsair model; great work on that warbird! ?
