Revell 1969 Dodge Charger RT
Hello friends...
My last automotive subject, 1969 Dodge Charger RT. One of the most iconic muscle cars of al time. This Revell kit, is very good on details. This particular kit, I bought several years ago, started it, but it stay on stand by for a long time, and a month ago, I finally decided to finish it. I use automotive red polyester paint, and clear coat as usual, the RT stripe on the rear was painted, not a decal, and try some satin black with some wrinkle to make the vinyl top..
The engine provoded with the kit was a 440 magnun.
Lets a mopar roar at this time!
Beautiful Charger Eduardo! Excellent paint and chrome trim.
thanks Don
Superb result, Eduardo! Who does not like a superb built Charger?
Congratulations!
yes Spiros, Chager is a must for any car entusiast!
American muscle at its best, excellent work on this monster.
Thanks George
Great work and photography. Some of the angles would feel right at home in a Mopar advertisement from that time frame. Really nice paint work, I like the subtle variations in the silver on the exhaust, and the vinyl roof has just the right amount of sheen.
thanks Walt, I like to made the undercarriage looks most realystic possible... exaust variations caused by temperature and exaust leakeage is cool...
Excellent result on this muscle car, Eduardo @eduardomorcego
Thanks John
Love the paint job Eduardo. One of the best I’ve ever seen on a car model. Not sure what polyester paint is, but I’m going to search it out. Any tricks to it?
No big tricks... Very thin dillution on poliester, several layers... 3 layers of clear coat... sanding process with 1500 grit and finnaly with 2000 grit... then polishing process with automotive products...
Go Mopar! Nice job!
Incredible work.
Beautiful Build!
