  1. An amazing build, Hans Peter!
    Well done!

  2. Impressive. Hans you've brought out the best in this kit. Is this a "Out of Box" build or did you add some resin goodies and add on?

    Smashed like button.

    Two thumbs up.

  3. Nice model and pictures, like esp. the last one. Well done!

  4. Es ist ein Out of the Box gebautes Modell

  5. Great looking '109 Hans Peter, impressive paint work.
So many victories, Wow - and Rall also survived he war.

  6. Excellent build, Hans Peter @messerschmitt
    Beautiful painting and detailing.

  7. Rall not only survived the war, he eventually retired in 1983 as the Chief of Staff of the Bundesluftwaffe at the rank of Lt. General. I had the opportunity of meeting him at the AFAA convention the next year. If you didn't know he was "Gunther Rall," you would never believe he was Gunther Rall. Unlike many of the aces, he came across as a "likeable bloke at the bar," which he indeed was. There was no "Generalness" about him, as there always is with American Generals whether on active duty or long-retired (interestingly, Admirals are far less likely to have that attitude, at least in my experience of knowing more of them than I ever thought I would).

This is a really nice result with this kit. I followed the same alternative when I did one. Up to the usual Hans Peter level of achievement.

  8. Amazing build! Love the history behind it as well. Fun addition of the figure and "schwim wagen" in the last pics!

  9. A beautiful model, but a Nazi who made 275 kills is not a hero and shouldn’t be praised.

  10. A great looking 109. Amazing now nicely you got those spinner stripes!
