1/32 Hasegawa P-40N-1 “Dikam Death”
Another addition to my P-40 Warhawk collection. I advise preparing yourself for a dozen more p-40s in 1/32 scale 🙂
This is 1/32 Hasegawa P-40N 1 “Dikam Death” from 88th FS 80th FG Burma Banshees.
Cockpit modified with Eduard instrument panel and seatbelts.
I have added Eduard Exhaust set
Paints: Gunze Sangyo acrylics
Decals: Nose art and tail numbers are from Customhobbydecals
Happy modelling
A beautiful build to add to your collection, Tolga @tolgaul
Your modelling expertise is clearly shown on this one.
Great detailing and painting.
Thanks John
Another totally gorgeous P-40 from Tolga. How many have you done?
Thanks Stellan
Totally I have built 14 Warhawk and two Tomahawks in 1/32 scale.
Very well done! Stunning work!
Thank you Paul
Another beauty! Well done, Tolga
Thanks Gary
Another Tolga masterpiece!
Superb!
Thanks Spiros
Great Skull job. Very interesting set of markings. The checkerboard on only one wing tip? And a flash under the nose too. Your paintwork is superb, kudos.
Thanks Bill
Yes probably one of the wing tips ( right or left) swapped from another one.
Great work, Tolga (@tolgaul). The P-40 is one of my favorites, and your paint scheme is perfect. I would bet the getting the skull decal in place was fun! Looking forward to your next P-40s.
Thanks @billkoppos
Applying large-surface decal on curved surfaces requires attention. A few innocent trimmings in the exhaust areas make it easy.
Tolga,
Finding 1/32nd Hasegawa P-40s other than the model E is a big deal in some circles. Its like finding hens teeth.
You must have cornered the market at the right time.
Your style of modeling is to be envied. Or its becoming a school in and of itself. Definitely, a excellent reference for other modelers.
Two thumbs up.
Thanks a lot Stephen @stephen-w-towle
It's nearly impossible to find Hasegawa's 1/32 M and N these days. The prices you can find are also not reasonable at all.
Yes, 4-5 years ago, I bought some K,M and N what I could find at affordable prices . Now it's time to build them stress-free
On the other hand, I heard some rumors that the Hobby 2000 has bought the P-40 molds from Hasegawa and will release the Ms first. I hope this happens.
Nice work, Tolga!
Thanks John
What can I say? another Tolga masterpiece!
Thanks a lot Tom appreciated
Fantastic ,your work is always outstanding. Well done Tolga.
Thanks a lot Neil appreciated
Nice! I think that the scull nose is the meanest looking scheme for P-40's.
Thanks Robert
Very nice model, Tolga.
Thanks Dan
Another beauty! I'm finishing up 2 P-40's now - they are definitely one of my favorite US WWII airframes!
Thanks Greg
P-40 is one of my favourites too
