1/35 MiniArt Pz.Kpfw IV Ausf. J
MiniArt brings us a lot of great models, Pz.Kpfw IV family is no excuse. In fact, MA covered almost any type of this famous Panzer. this one is no exception. In fact, this is a little bit odd one, this is MA's Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf. J Nibelungenwerk Late Prod. (Jan – Feb 1945) full interior kit.
I would not like to write much about technicals about this machine in real life. I would add a note about almost superb fitting of this kit. It is a shame that some of the great details are obscure. This is full interior kit with workable tracks, suspensions, movable gun, machine gun… Some parts were a little bit tricky but nothing too serious, nevertheless this is absolute not a beginner kit. It took me some serious amount of modelling time just to assemble it. It needed a little bit of puty there and there followed with sanding.
I decided to go with every single detail, I scratchbuilt wires, towing cables… This is part of diorama with 12 figures, crane, spare parts… I hope that in future I will finish all other parts of the diorama and post it.
The model was painted with acrylics, weatherd with oils, pigments. . I didn't want to overweather it simply because it would be the part of diorama with idea that Panzer is beign cleaner, shaved and prepared for another round of battle.
I hope that You like it, feel free to comment, cheers!
Incredible detailing, Djordje @sheol
Also the paintwork is very impressive.
Thank You Sir!
I used Akan colors for exterior and AK RC for interior.
Fantastic result, Djordje!
It was a little bit restful to do Panzer after planes 🙂
Well done, MiniArt rules!
Thank You 🙂 MiniArt is what other bands should be, but they are growing more and more in quality.
Yes they are, it's amazing to see these UKR companies like ICM and MiniArt keep innovating every month. Their figures quality is also outstanding!
Their figures are great. There isn't any need for resin head replacement.
This is outstanding work, Djordje!
Thank You!
Fantastic detailing, looking forward to seeing your diorama.
I will have to slow down a bit with diorama, there is a baby on the way, just few more days until she comes. A little bit time for her, and some time for modelling 🙂
