EXA Vehicle (Armored Assault Mecha Ver.) (1:144)

EXA Vehicle- Armored Assault Mecha
( )

A small project that should bring in some variety once again 😉.
At the same time my first mecha- kit.

Gundams or Mechas have been on my to-do list for some time, but the effort with the many individual parts has always kept me from doing so.
Therefore, this kit was a very good alternative, few parts and no complicated design.

Even though this is actually in scale 1:144, I would say that you can cover a variety of scales with it.
He would also fit well with 72nd, 48th or 35th.
Even in 1:35 he would still cut a good figure as an approximately six-meter-high combat drone (of course, that's just my point of view 😉)

The entire painting was done exclusively with Vallejo acrylic paints, except for pinwashing/panel lining.

What unfortunately does not come across so well in the pictures are the glass surfaces (eye and the three round lenses on the body).
With the eye, I have been able to achieve an almost 3d-like look by means of a dark to light color gradation, transparent red and yellow glazes and several layers of shiny clear lacquer.
The three lenses have also received a good deep look, by means of silver, different transparent colors and again a lot of clear lacquer.
