  1. Wow, I am impressed, James. You managed to rivet the entire airframe of a (to me) tiny 1/72 Bf-109! That would be beyond my abilities in that scale. The result is very nice and it really enhances the realism. I also could not imagine drilling out cannon barrels in 1/72. I find it tricky in 1/48 or 1/32. That is a very interesting splinter pattern on Bartel's aircraft. Great job on getting the complex shapes of the pattern. Too bad we can't see more of the interior in your photos. Quinta decals are very impressive for interior detail.

    • Thank you so much Colin. The Erla factory did this camo scheme, and after the fact I realized I should've sourced an Erla hood. Oh well, next time. I wish I could get a nice shot of the cockpit, because the Quinta set is pretty amazing!

  2. Great work on a tiny subject... Paint work is crackin!

  3. Like Colin said, I'm impressed! That's as lot of good micro work!

  4. Your usual exquisite job on the good Tamiya kit, James! The result is really excellent!
    Well done!

  5. Amazing work, James, particularly in this scale.

  6. Excellent craftsmanship, James @jkelleycrna
The detailing and paintwork on this Gustav is amazing and it is hard to believe this is just 1/72.
    Well done.

  7. Fantastic work, James. Certainly appears to be larger than 1/72.

  8. Thank you one and all for your kind words.

  9. Lovely job. Everything looks great, especially the camouflage.

  10. Great work, James (@jkelleycrna). It is hard to go wrong with a Tamiya 109, but your additions really push it over the top. Ditto on drilling out the barrels. It would be hard for me to just focus on the end of the machine guns, much less try to drill them out.

  11. Beautiful work! Love the scheme on this, and you laid it down nicely. Well done.
