Eduard 1/48 Tempest V
Although not Eduard's finest model, it is still the best model in the market. Quite a few areas require filling the seams and re-scribing the fine panel lines. Nonetheless, the model is well detailed and captures the characteristic Hawker Tempest lines. I found that the silver finish adds realism to the model.
All are superbly done, Rafi!
Thank you Spiros
A great set of Tempests, Rafi @blackmopane
They do look superb in their silver finish.
Thank you John
beautiful! excellent building and finishing on all 3- agree with the comments above at how sharp these look in silver
Thank you David
3 beauty - well done!
Thank you Chas
Nice line up. The paint jobs look great
Thank you Gary
All very very nice models Rafi! The silver finish does look terrific on all Tempest versions, but that one with the stripes yellow/black is exquisite.
I’ve an almost completed Eduard Tempest II in the bench and it builds without vices…I guess they acknowledged feedback like yours
Thank you Pedro.
Indeed, the Tempest II is much better engineered. Engine cowling and wings are different molds since the structure of the aircraft was different (and not because of critics, I believe.)
The finish and weathering on these models is simply outstanding. It just goes to show that even a kit with some issues can be an outstanding model. Thank you for sharing them!
Thank you Matt
A terrific trio of Tempests.
Thank you George
Someone likes Tempests! Well done, Rafi.
Thank you John!
Beautiful builds - the weathering is excellent - I especially like what you achieved with the yellow areas. Perfectly worn.
Thank you Greg.
