1/48th Breda Ba 65.
This is my fairly recent build of the Special Hobby kit, which probably contributed greatly to my grey hair!
Many of the injection moulded parts required significant fettling, filling and sanding to persuade them to go together, however the resin and etched parts were excellent, particularly the multi part engine and its cowl. The decals were also generally good apart from a couple of random ones which disintegrated completely for no apparent reason. Fortunately I was able to reproduce these and print replacements.
It was painted with my usual Gunze aqueous paints, weathered with oils and pastels and finished with Alclad II matt varnish.
A great result of a rarely seen aircraft, David @davecope109
No signs left of the injection marks.
Paintwork, external and also internal, looks really good.
Those schemes always withhold me from starting an Italian aircraft.
Beautiful
This turned out very nice! It’s an aircraft I was hitherto unaware of.
That's a nice looking build all around, David. Well done.
Looks great! Camo scheme looks really good. I have this in 1/72, and not sure how I'm going to approach the splotches yet... Don't think I'm skilled enough to freehand them!
Well done David for battling through and bringing us this lovely model. Here's to the next bunch of grey hair if your next subject is as good 👍
Superb result on a most challenging kit, David!
Congratulations!
THAT is a great build. I have this, always look but never start, and I'm a big fan of the looks of the airplane.
Very good job on the innards and paint, superb overall.
Great work on one of my favorite Italian aircraft. @davecope109 I built one about 5 years ago and concur it is a tough one.to complete.

Yours looks great! You got your cockpit interior sitting correctly, mine is a little low.
This is a great replica of a handsome airplane I had no awareness of previously.
I really like your display base as well, it's both sharp-looking and places the aircraft in context, a fine way to set off your superb model.
Splendid model! However hard the model might be to build, your Breda is perfectly built and painted
Looks great, such a cool aircraft.
Nicely done, great work on the camo.
Great job!
Was that camo pattern applied freehand?
Looks awesome. @davecope109
Thanks! Yes it's freehand.
👍
Wonderful build of a not-so-great kit. I know, I built one quite a few years back and it was a challenge!
