Academy and Dragon 1/35 "Magach" variants in the IDF
Over the years the M48A and its successor the 60A has undergone extensive modifications in the IDF service. "Magach" stands for battering-ram.
Magach variants are among my favorite AFV models. Without effort, when completed the look like the real tanks. Dragon's M48A3 kit does not much modification to convert to the early service years in the IDF. Academ's Magach 6B is already in the IDF dressing. Both kits are relatively simple to build without complications. But, the old Academy M60A1 BLAZER is the best of the lot. It has a very simple design and out of the box looks very authentic.
All are superb, Rafi! Excellent job!
Thank you Spiros!
They look like real tanks to me.

a very good job without a doubt. Congratulations!
Thank you Federico!
Awesome Armor builds! The IDF sure know how to make a design their own. I always like what they did to their Shermans
