AH-1W Super Cobra
Over the weekend I was able to take some better photos of my pre-Super Hornet project that I shared with you earlier. (The F14 is the current project)
It is a 1/35 scale AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter from the Academy company.
The kit is quite basic, so it seemed good to start with these flying devices :).
I made a lot of mistakes but the main one was placing a badge and since I didn't have a replacement, the only "solution" I found was to paint a 1/35 figure of that sexy girl. I brought her a panzarfaust but I didn't put it on.
I know that the color is not right, it is very bluish and the weathering is exaggerated, I did not use a good and faithful reference photo.

the decal of the insignia covered by the girl, is upside down 🙁
Then, although the construction is relatively simple, I needed to place and putty some small sectors.
But the main thing in my opinion was at least to use a very nice reference photo, but exaggerated in photoshop

@federicoschulze - It's a nice model, Federico, I can see from your reference why you went "blue".
I have decals for a US Navy F-14 in Operation Desert Storm where a particularly "bluish" batch of Blue Grey made it to USS Theodore Roosevelt. VF-84's Tomcats were very blue, but looked great.
Also, with the problem with one decal, one could always spray over it with Chromate primer or Tactical Paint Scheme grey, turn it into a "corrosion control touch-up". But please don't think I'm objecting to anything, I like Pin-up Girls and I have a couple of figures like her to do a fun "Tank Girls" project or two.
