1/32 Bf 110 C-6 Revell + AIMS conversion
This is 1/32 Bf 110 C6 with the markings of 3U-XS from 8./JG 26 in Western desert late 1941.
I have used Revell's Bf 110 C2/C7(ex Dragon) kit with AIMS Bf 110C-6 conversion set.
Cockpit was modified by Quinta Studio 3D resin interior set.
Paints are Gunze Sangyo acrylics.
RLM 80 squiggles were painted free hand
My reference for the top surfaces (especially oil and dirt leaks on the inner engine cowlings ) is Kagero's book.
Happy modelling
Another great looking build. keep up the good work.
Thanks Mark @gelleb18
Really nice, Tolga.
Thanks Gary @gwskat
Yes, another Tolga masterpiece with the usual superb improvements.
The final result is, also as usual, stunning.
Congratulations Tolga!
Thanks Spiros @fiveten
A great model, Tolga, love the squiggles and the exhaust stains.
Thanks George @chinesegeorge
Beautiful work - nice details, and great paintwork and weathering.
Thanks Greg @gkittinger
@tolgaul
Very nice work as usual Tolga, the squiggles are spot on imo! The IP is also spectacular…I guess those QS stuff work to perfection in larger scales.
That’s a 110 I have once considered doing in my favourite scale, after seeing Eduard specific box for the C-6 (included this very machine I believe) but couldn’t get my hands on one, so that’s that
Thanks Pedro @holzhamer
Yet another amazing result, Tolga @tolgaul
Everything on this build looks amazing, the painting, especially the squiggles, the interior, all.
Well done.
Thanks John @johnb
I remember this kit coming out in the aftermath of my review of their P-51D which many of the Large Slow People claimed would "kill the hobby" because I was so mean to a company that it might decide if they were going to be so unjustly criticized that they would stop making kits. But the Bf-110 came out six months later, with a list of the Subject Matter Experts they had worked with in the instructions, followed by their 1/32 109Es, generally judged to be the best kits of those subjects in that scale. Yeah, TC was really dangerous with that review, eh? 🙂
And as usual, Tolga gets the most out of what was in the box, with this wonderful rendition. Excellent result!
Thanks Tom @tcinla
Thank god you were rude to that company Tom, because it has been effective that the 109E and Bf 110s they released after the Mustang are really great kits.
Another great build by Tolga! Love it.
Smart work, Tolga, and an excellent result... ;-).
