Heinkel He 219 A2
This is a model I built in 2018. The only aftermarket used were some Eduard set belts . It represents a He329 A2 , Nachtjagdgruppe Norwegen, Grove Denmark 1945. The kit was trouble free , but it does take up a lot of space in the display case. Thanks for viewing.
Nice work on that monster!
Thank you
Really great work, especially on that mottling.
Thanks
Excellent job allover, Mark! Indeed, a big beast!
Congratulations!
Thank you
Very nice looking Uhu, MArk @gelleb18
The mottling does indeed look very nice, must have been quite some work on this aircraft.
Thank you, the mottling was done with a sponge , was definitely easier than air brushing.
Really impressive.
Thanks
Excellent build - some nice detailing in the cockpit, and great paintwork. Well done!
Thank you

Your Uhu turned out very well. I have this very same kit about 95 percent done. I picked up a set of HGW seat belts, and Master Brass radar antennae's for mine. These aftermarket items, along with the kit supplied decals and the clear parts are what is left to complete mine. It's HUGE ! I'm hoping it will fit in one of my display cases. I especially like the cockpit and up close detail photos you posted. I'll click on a few of the "like" buttons before I leave.
Thank you Louis. I am sure the after market items will be a nice addition , the HGW seat belts look good. I will look forward to seeing the finished product.👍🏻
This kit got really panned when it first came out on the boards and its be shelved by some. However, if the kit looks like a duck, quacks like a duck it is. Mark you've done a excellent job of bringing out the best in this kit with some strong work in the painting and the detailing in the cockpit. The canopy is smart and clear and the over all appeal is screams Heinkel He-219. A successful build to say the least.
Thank you Stephen for the kind compliments.
