  1. Y'a know, you're getting pretty good at this model stuff.
    Outstanding.

  2. If Wingnut Wings kits were made for anybody, they were made for you, David @mentaldental. I think a serious argument can be made that you have gotten the most out of what was in the box of every Wingnut Wings kit you have done, of any modeler out there.

    • I would like to Second Tom's, @tcinla, statement. David, @mentaldental, your builds are always stellar! Not just well built, but your attention to detail in your paint and finish offers up so much eye candy. Nothing less then museum quality every time. I also, always enjoy your figures. When are you going to write that book that tells your techniques and methods for accomplishing such incredible models?

  3. I am speechless...
Great photography highlights your outstanding work.
    A feast for the eyes

  8. Glad youve enjoyed it...its off to SMC next weeked.

  9. Another masterpiece from your works David! And another showcase for wood decals

  10. That is beautiful! I love the Albatross. One of my favorite ww1 aircraft. And the figure is just outstanding. That's something I really want to try one of these days. Truly beautiful work.

  11. Amazing work. I built an Eduard Albatros (1/48) with those markings. I wish mine looked that good.

  12. Fully agree with the above comments, David @mentaldental
This is another model added to your shelf which definitely will draw a lot of attention.
    Well done.

  13. I think you’ve crossed the fine line between modelling and art.

  14. Absolutely stunning. Like the real thing was hit with a shrink ray.

  15. I knew the moment I laid eyes on that model that it was David Lane's work. 🏆 You sir, are an artist disguised as a scale modeler...the dental gig just pays for the art supplies, amirite? 😁 All your models are spectacular David @mentaldental, as close to the real thing as one can get, I reckon...🍺

  16. Another showcase Gem!

  17. Absolutely outstanding!

  18. A beautiful work of art, I especially like the weathering /chipping on the engine cowling.

  19. Simply and in an adorable way: the best!

  20. This is outstanding
