Tiny Hunter
I think the Hawker Hunter is one of the most esthetically pleasing aircraft ever to fly. I’ve made Revell’s 1/32, 1/72, and, now 1/144 Hunters. I have to say I like this 1/144 kit the best. If I can find a 1/144 Hunter decal sheet, I’d make a bunch of these! This is my first finished kit for 2017 with several more nearing completion.

🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Nice looking model Scott. You are so true regarding your words on the Hunter. Very nice and elegant lines are always seen on this aircraft … no matter what angle it is seen from.
The camouflage scheme is so nicely done as well as the model in whole.
The photography is well done on this one.
Nice work, thanks for sharing these images.

Thats a great start for your 2017 builds, Scott.
It came out excellent, especially considering this rather small scale.

That’s the only 1/144 kit I have seen (other than big airplanes) that loks at all like what it’s supposed to be. You could have easily convinced me this was a1/72 model.

A beautifully finished model that shows off the lines of the original very well.

I thought it was bigger, myself. Amazing work, given the size. Just a beautiful aircraft, and a favorite.

As Tom and Bernard said, I thought it was a 72nd kit as well when I saw the headline photo. Very nice rendition. So just what IS the wingspan on the model?

Beautiful, Scott! It looks much bigger than it is. Your photos are great as well.
