Heinkel He 112B-1, 1/48

October 11, 2023 · in Aviation · · 19 · 401

This is a kit by LF models and I think it may be their first all plastic kit in . It is a limited run product of very good quality. Options include cowl panels to do either the in line exhaust or the tubular. The clear parts are very well done and provide parts for open or closed canopies. Separate control surfaces and flaps are also a feature of the kit. The overall fit of parts is quite good. The model represents an aircraft seen in the Hungarian Nyiregyhaza airfield, June 1940.

  1. Nice work and a good result Dale.

Just took a look at the price on this. While the kit is nicer than the Classic Airframes kit, it isn't $90 nicer.

  2. I got it for a good price too. I must have gone up.

  3. Nice work, Dale. I got the Spanish version a few months ago for about $50.

  4. Really nice work, Dale @dtravis
Those triangle markings are quite unique.

  6. Definitely worth it whatever the price.

  7. Interesting topic for modelling. Not a bad looking plane.

  8. Always liked the lines of the 112.
Great looking build, Dale! Nice work on the Hungarian Camo.

  9. I like that one! The scheme and markings really make the 112 a more interesting aircraft to look at!
