The Spirit
This one I did quite a while ago but I thought I might share it with you. It is the 1/72 Northrop B-2 Spirit made by Testors. This kit is quite a thing. It took me almost a year to get it done with some others to step out of it and step back.
Beside the kit itself I used Begemot decals and a PE set form Eduard for it. All the rest, the interior of the wheel wells, the bomb bay, the cockpit, the engines (front and back) and the gangway is scratch built. The colors I used ar selfmixed from Vallejo Model Color.
If someone is interested in some making of images, I have a small booklet with an asortment of pictures, which I made as an information brochure for a competition I did put on.
Thanks for looking in
@impisi - Beautiful work Martin!
Thanks a lot Brian
Excellent job, Martin!
Thanks a lot Spiros
Fantastic all black paint scheme. Your added details help it to look bigger than its scale, and the paint and weathering does the rest to make it very realistic looking.
Thanks a lot Andrew
Martin...Your super job on build & finish produced a high degree of realism A very special model.
Great build! Not something you see every day & you've really nailed this build!
Outstanding work, Martin. I know what you started with and that was a true labor of love to complete to this standard. I had one in the stash for 25+ years and would occasionally look at it, and then put it away. I liquidated it during The Great Stash Reduction of 2021.
That's very impressive. A highly realistic result. Excellent work.
Some very nice work, Martin @impisi
Very realistic indeed.
Outstanding effort.
Very nice! Black is hard to pull off, but you have done it beautifully.
Very impressive result.
I don't see that kit built up very often - you did a fantastic job on the paintwork especially. Excellent build.
Thansk a lot Guys!
Well done!
Very cool and unique model...nice job!
Thanks a lot Gentlemen! I really appreciate all your kind comments! Thank you!
