Tamiya 1/48 A6M5/5a Zero
Two of Tamiya's newer tooling A6M5 that I built. The kit is more detailed the initial tooling and still is easy to build. Unfortunately, this is the only new tool variant. Eduard then, would be the natural choice to cover highly detailed Zero variants in one's collection.
Both builds look great. Well done, Rafi!
Thank you Gary!
Both look superb, Rafi! Weathering rocks!
Thank you Spiros!
Two Zeroes. The only model You can build two of and still have Zero. Zero plus Zero equals...sorry.
Those are TWO very nice looking builds Sir.
Thank you Bill!
Two great builds of the classic Tamiya kit, Rafi.
Thank you George.
Nice Zeros, Rafi.
Thank you John.
Your Zeros are up to the Traditional Rafi Standard of Excellence. Nice work!
Eduard is taking Tamiya's lunch money and chasing them home from school. There's no comparison between their Zeros and P-51s and Spitfires and the Tamiya alternatives, if you seriously like any of the specific types.
Thank you Tom!
Since there is not yet an Eduard A6M5 variant, my comparison to Tamiya was out of place.
The Eduard A6M5 comes out in February or March next year. An A and a C.
A beautiful pair of Zekes!
Thank you Greg!
I can only confirm the above compliments, Rafi @blackmopane
Beautiful detailing and excellent paintwork.
Thank you John!
Great zeros Rafi! The fading and chipping are gorgeous. Beautiful weathering. Your work is outstanding! I did a 1/32nd scale Hasegawa A6M5 a wile back, bit I think I really over did it with the weathering. I'll have to post it and get some opinions.
Thank you Clint!
The weathering of the 1/32 is difficult because no detailed records exist to give sufficient guidance to shape of the end result.
A couple of beautifully finished Zero's, Rafi. @blackmopane
Thank you John.
Excellent work, beautiful finish.
DB
Thank you DB.
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Great and respectable work on both of these models Rafi.
The weathering is very convincing as well as the subtle fading.
Thank you DE!
