BRONCO 1/35 A-34 Comet Tank

February 26, 2024 · in Armor · · 4 · 144

My A-34 Comet type B tank (late version).

Completed this on the 4th December 2023.

All done oob with the exception of the mantle cover. This is made from tissue paper (photo included to show it), painted with watered down white glue, then cut to size and painted with vallejo model color khaki. The metal brackets on top of the canvas is 1.5mm x 0.25mm plastic strips.

Paints used are vallejo model color American Green and this was over coated with Tamiya AS14 Olive Green [USAF].

The antenna is a thin piece of spring steel wire.

As it is being done as one used in South Africa after WW2 it will have U reg letter standing for the Union Defence Force vehicle.

The reg letter has since been added and two x tow ropes added on the front.
