Fire fighting Privateer P4Y-2 walk-around at Centennial of Naval Aviation
One of the highlights for me was this Privateer. As a boy growing up in the Pacific Northwest during fire season I would sit on my roof and watch B-17s, B-24s and Privateers drop borate on the hills above our city. I believe this bird is/was operated by Hawkins and Powers Aviation.
