AFV Club 1/48 F-5F Freedom Fighter
AFV Club's first foray into aviation topics results with a vary nice kit. Their Freedom Fighter is a detailed kit that builds into a seemly accurate depiction of the aircraft. The engraved panel lines are somewhat schematic, but the fit of parts is good. In my sample, the decals were extremely brittle.

Most people don't know it, but the F-5 series were the last fighters designed by Edgar Schmued, creator of the P-51, F-86 and F-100.
