Supermarine Spitfire LF IX.e 1/32 Revell
This build is my personal tribute to Lt František Vavřínek (25.1.1914 Vsetín – 26.7.1978 Vsetín,On March 3, 1942, he was assigned to the 313th Czechoslovak Air Force as an operational fighter pilot. fighter squadrons at Hornchurch. He served with the unit until 15 May 1943, when he was transferred as a flight instructor to the 61st OTU at Rednal. On November 7, 1943, he was assigned to the 312th Czechoslovak Army. fighter squadrons at Ybsley. On March 19, 1944, he was promoted to the British officer rank of Pilot Officer and on April 30, he was sent to the 84th Group (air group) - Support Unit (support unit). On July 3, 1944, he returned to operational activity - he was again assigned to the 313th Czechoslovak Army. fighter squadrons at Tangmere. He served with the unit until the end of the war, flying a total of 308.25 operational hours. On June 1, 1945, he was promoted to the rank of Air Force Lieutenant in the reserve (he ended the war with the British rank of Flying Officer), because he born and died in city, where i work in railway station many years. I used Revell kit IX.c and made some little modifikation for version IX.e Harness Eduard,decals DK Decals and guns cover Aires. I self made new gun panels on upper wings and fill and rescribe some diferent panels. Pilot figure produce Aerobonus
