Wespe in Italian front 1944, Tamiya 1/35
This time I would like to upload an AFV work, Wespe in the Italian front. This is the first serious challenge in AFV modelling apart from many ones in my childhood. Because I saw many advancements in AFV modeling technics such as chipping liquid, I simply wanted to try some of them by myself. Besides, I simply like this tiny self propelled howitzer. Tamiya's kit is as wonderful as we usually expected. I also used detail up parts from Passion models.
Outstanding in every way. Paint, figures, dirt. This is your first? Wow.
Excellent result, Naoki!
Fantastic, Naoki @yamanaka
Also the way you have taken those pictures is superb, looks very realistic this way.
Very 'atmospheric' look, Naoki, for the dry Italian plain. Your painting of the figures gives them a great look of individuality; I just wish Tamiya would improve their helmet shape after so many years. The Wespe in this newish release is an old but good kit made better, and you've made it even better yet with the Passion update parts. Congratulations!
Great work! Pictures bring out the details of your figure work and the upgrade parts!
Thank you all for such encouraging comments, which make me think more of building AFVs!
